Lots of people go overboard with macros and detailed maps, but there's really no need to.<br /><br />For a well-rounded setting, prepare an overland map, a starting town map, all location based adventure sites (dungeons) and maybe a few generic wilderness maps by terrain-type (forest, hills, etc) to stage random encounters on. <br /><br />Suggest you use Ventrilo alongside MT for OOC stuff, much faster that way.<br /><br />If you are looking for players, I'd be game.
